Rodent control — rats and mice

Rats and mice are not just an aesthetic problem: they contaminate food, chew electric cables (fire risk), damage insulation and transmit several diseases (leptospirosis, salmonellosis, hantavirus). An untreated colony doubles its population in a few weeks.

Our rodent control protocol goes far beyond placing bait. We identify entry points, secure the food source, deploy tamper-proof bait stations and return for follow-up checks until full neutralisation. The result is durable, not cosmetic.

How to spot the problem

The signs to identify

Droppings

Black droppings of 3–6 mm (mice) or 15–20 mm (rats) in cupboards, under sinks, in cellars or garages.

Noises in walls or ceiling

Scratching, running and small squeaks mostly at night. Mice move through partitions and suspended ceilings.

Damage on packaging and wires

Chewed food packets, exposed electrical wires, pierced plastic. Rodents need to gnaw constantly.

Urine smell

Persistent acrid odour in closed rooms. Often alongside dark trails along skirting boards.

Why act fast

The risks of leaving an infestation untreated

Public health

Leptospirosis, salmonella, hantavirus: rodents contaminate surfaces, food and pet litter.

Fire risk

Chewed electrical wires are a significant cause of domestic fires. Insurers ask about this.

Structural damage

Perforated insulation, damaged partitions, weakened pipes. The longer you wait, the more expensive the repair.

Methodology

A 4-step protocol

Consumer treatments target visible rodents without cutting off the source. Our approach breaks the cycle by acting on access, food, population and follow-up.

  1. 1

    Diagnosis and tracking

Locating droppings, grease trails, passages and nests. Species identification to fine-tune bait and station density.

  2. 2

    Secured bait stations

Installation of locked, tamper-proof bait stations, safe for children and pets. Strategic placement on rodent routes.

  3. 3

    Sealing entry points

Grilles, steel wool, professional expanding foam: rodents can no longer get in — not even the smallest.

  4. 4

    Checks and guarantee

Follow-up visits until activity reaches zero. Written report at every visit, result guarantee over the agreed period.

Frequently asked questions

How long to get rid of the rodents?
A mouse colony is usually neutralised in 2 to 3 weeks. For rats, count on 3 to 5 weeks with intermediate checks. We come back as long as activity remains.
Are your baits dangerous for my dog?
No. We exclusively use locked, tamper-proof bait stations. No free product is left within reach of children or pets.
Do I have to leave home during the intervention?
No, rodent control is performed while you are on site. The intervention usually lasts less than an hour.
